The 15th Annual 100 Wave Challenge for Boys to Men Mentoring will be held at Mission Beach on September 28th however the Degree 33 Surfboards Crew will actually host this event at Cardiff Reef on Oct 26. Come volunteer, paddle out, fundraise for at risk youth and if you feel inspired click off 100 waves in a single day! Yup, takes some of us about 7 hours to catch 100 waves. This is an amazing event benefiting a wonderful cause as Boys to Men reaches the hearts of at-risk teenage boys growing up without a positive role model in their life.
The Degree 33 Surfboards team along with a handful of Surfers Unite Rotarian Fellowship members will paddle out at Cardiff Reef on Sat., October 26 due to scheduling conflicts. Now is the time to get involved and you can support at-risk youth in the following ways:
1) Donate to the cause: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/15thannual100wavechallenge/account/1806061
2) Be a Surf Angel or Join Our Team: https://secure.qgiv.com/event/15thannual100wavechallenge/register/form/registration
3) Volunteer at either event by registering today!
The Surfers Unite Rotarian Fellowship crew would like to invite fellow Rotarians, Rotaract & Interact Club members as well as friends in the surf community to help clean up Ocean Beach on Sat. November 9th. Buckets, gloves and trash bags will be provided and this is a free event. Registration is required and it's an excellent opportunity to do something positive for the environment.
